My wife and I have used Kresta 4 times in New Zealand and once in Australia, to fit out our entire house with blinds. The Australian experience was not so great. However, we have always been delighted with the service and finished product we have received in New Zealand (Mt Wellington Branch. We did once live 40 kms north of Auckland and contacted one of the national companies who advertise extensively on the radio. They said we lived too far away from a main centre so could not send out a sales person. We contacted Kresta, they said not a problem, and sent someone out to measure and quote and then to fit the blinds. They are accommodating and very professional. I would have no problem recommending them and in fact since our experience with the other company, we have always gone straight to Kresta when we have required blinds. Over the last few months we have been having renovations and without exception we have been let down by all the contractors, suffered from poor communication, and endless delays. Our experience with Kresta started with a web search, then phone enquiry, followed by a visit from Darren.He is knowledgeable and very helpful. He gave us a clear understanding of the processes once we placed an order and how long it would take. So it was a pleasant surprise when we were called a week earlier than Darren said, to arrange installation. Kevin arrived early on the appointed day and installed the blinds quickly and perfectly. "Recently I had a problem with two of my blinds, the winding mechanism kept jamming, in order to raise the blind I would have to manually reach up to the top of the blind and rotate it. I went to where I had purchased them in Henderson, only to find the shop had closed down, eventually I located the Albany branch. The staff were most courteous and understanding offering me an instant fix saying just to change the metal pull cord with a nylon cord. Now being somewhat of a disbeliever, I thought how could such a simple fix remedy my perceived gigantic problem, this will never work! I headed off home,followed your instructions to the letter and now have to report back they now work perfectly. Thanks to both of your showroom ladies, your assistance was most appreciated." - Alan, Auckland NZ, 05/02/2015
